NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Village of Black Creek

Public Notice is hereby given that the Village of Black Creek will hold a public hearing at the Community Center, located at 507 S. Maple Street, Black Creek, WI 54106, on Wednesday February 4th, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. The hearing will consider the conclusions and recommendations of a Wastewater Facilities Plan that has been prepared on behalf of the Village.

The Wastewater Facilities Plan recommends that the Village maintain the existing facility and plan for replacement of existing infrastructure. This Plan is a requirement by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources before the Village may move forward with a project to improve phosphorus removal at the treatment facility. 

The public hearing will include a discussion of the wastewater facility planning process, treatment alternatives, proposed upgrades and repairs, and the financial impact of the proposed improvements to the community. At this hearing, questions regarding the Wastewater Facilities Plan will be answered and public comments will be accepted for consideration and submission to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.

A copy of the Wastewater Facility Plan will be available for public review at the Black Creek Library, at 507 S. Maple Street, Black Creek, WI. Additional copies of the report may be obtained from MSA Professional Services, Inc., 2901 E. Enterprise Ave., Ste. 500, Appleton, WI 54913, for a fee of $75.00 each.

Written comments regarding the subject project will be accepted by MSA Professional Services, Inc., 2901 E. Enterprise Ave., Ste. 500, Appleton, WI 54913, until February 3rd, 2026.  Please send comments with Attention to Matt Castillo, P.E.
