2021 Black Creek Fire & Rescue Picnic

Dear Friend,

The Annual Black Creek Fire & Rescue Picnic (formerly Family Day) Parade will be held on Saturday, June 5th, 2021

Did you know we give away prizes for the best 3 floats for each class? Plaques go to the commercial floats and non-commercial floats receive a check and a plaque! Winners will be announced at the park before the band starts!

This event is special for several reasons:

(1.)           The Black Creek Fire & Rescue Department partners with other organizations in Black Creek. Together we are able to provide a full day of family friendly events everyone can enjoy.

(2.)           The events hosted throughout the day help your local organizations raise money to utilize towards their missions.

(3.)           This is a yearly event that includes: the live band, car, antique tractor and motorcycle show, free kid’s area with games, bounce houses, magician and many more activities. There will also be raffles, paddle wheels, beverages for both minors and adults available until 11pm (No carry-ins allowed) and of course lots of great food.

(4.)           In the afternoon we will be hosting a fun long lived tradition at fire picnics by bringing back the firefighter water fights!   It is always fun to watch, come root on your favorite team.

Your participation is needed to make this year’s parade a special event. This parade will start at 11:00am at the intersection of Birch & S. Maple Street (Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church) with staging beginning at 9:30am. It will continue west on Birch to Main Street north to Oak Street right to S. Maple Street right back to Birch Street.

Don’t forget to join us after the parade at South Park to continue the Black Creek Fire & Rescue Picnic festivities!
