Highway 47 Construction – Burdick St/Hwy B: To:  Affected property owners Re-construction on Hwy 47 (Main St.) between Burdick St. and Hwy B is scheduled to begin on Monday April 29, 2024, the anticipated date for completion of the Village’s portion of the project to install new water mains and new sanitary sewer lines is August 30, 2024. Keep in mind that this timeframe does not include the State D.O.T.s portion of the work to repave the Hwy, while open to traffic with flag men. This portion of Hwy 47 will be closed to thru traffic during construction. The Hwy will remain open to local traffic for businesses and residents that live within the construction area, with occasional delays for construction equipment. The construction area will not be accessible from the North or South ends, but will be accessible from Birch St., Pine St. and Forest St.  The intersection at 47 & 54 at the stop lights and Main St. between Hwy 54 and Burdick St. will remain open at all times. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND JOINT REVIEW BOARD MEETING
REGARDING THE PROPOSED PROJECT PLAN AND BOUNDARY
FOR TAX INCREMENTAL DISTRICT (TID) NUMBER 3
IN THE VILLLAGE OF BLACK CREEK, WISCONSIN

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Village of Black Creek will hold an organizational Joint Review Board (JRB) meeting on June 13, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. at the Community Center, located at 507 South Maple Street. The purpose of this meeting is to organize a JRB to consider the proposed Project Plan for TID 3. The meeting is open to the public.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Plan Commission, of the Village of Black Creek, will hold a public hearing on June 13, 2022 at 5:45 p.m., at the Community Center, 507 South Maple Street, WI regarding the proposed Project Plan and Boundary for TID 3 in the Village.

Village of Black Creek TID 3 is generally located in the various areas located within the Village’s limits.

TID 3 will be classified as a mixed-use district based on the identification and classification of the property proposed to be included within the District.

Proposed public project improvements may include but are not limited to: site grading, sanitary sewer system improvements, storm water management system improvements, electric service, gas service, communications infrastructure, street improvements, lighting, sidewalks, professional and organizational services, administrative costs, and finance costs.

As part of the Project Plan, cash grants may be made by the Village of Black Creek to owners, lessees, or developers of property within TID 3.

The proposed costs include projects within the proposed boundary and within a one-half mile radius of the proposed boundary of the District. 

At the public hearing, all persons will be afforded a reasonable opportunity to be heard concerning the proposed Project Plan. A copy of the TID 3 Project Plan and Boundary is available for inspection and will be provided upon request.
