Spring Yard Clean-Up

Outdoor burning of dry leaves and other non-offensive dry yard debris is allowed from April 15 through May 15 provided  the following:

1.  Monitored by a responsible person until the fire has extinguished iteself completely
2. Conducted on days when excessive wind will not result in danger to public health or safety
3. Located off the public street pavement or street gutter
4. Located at lease 30 feet from any neighboring residence
5. Not used for covert incineration of offensive substances or materials

Fire department calls that result from the burning will be charged to the responsible party.

You may also dispose of leaves, grass and other yard waste by bringing it to the brush/compost site at Tower Drive.
